Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Jaddaf to convert to freehold ownership
- The Dubai Land Department has announced that private property owners along Sheikh Zayed Road and in Al Jaddaf can now convert their properties to freehold, available to all nationalities. A total of 457 plots are eligible for this conversion, which is expected to boost property values and attract new investment.
- Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita noted that the initiative will drive real estate growth and attract investment.
Property owners can apply via the Dubai REST app, with a 30% conversion fee. - The Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033 aims to increase transactions by 70%, raise market value to AED trillion, and grow real estate portfolios to AED20 billion.
