Dubai Real Estate Demand Expected to Spike as Renters Look to Buy

  • Dubai developers are expecting a spike in demand for property sales soon. This comes as a result of a recent market study finding up to 66% of tenants planning to buy houses in the city in the next six months.
  • Low- to middle-income tenants are opting to buy houses due to rents becoming more expensive in Dubai. High-income investors, on the other hand, cite high capital appreciation as their reason.
  • Out of Dubai’s neighborhoods, investors and tenants are eyeing Dubai Hill Estate, Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, and Arabian Ranches.
